After re-organization of the district Govt. have sanctioned different posts for management of civil supply work of this district. Similarly the OSCSC, Ltd head Office has sanctioned the posts for management of District Managers Office. The staff position is as follows:

B.P.L. Rice, Levy Sugar , Annapurna Rice and Rice under A.A.Y are being issued under T.P.D.S. through storage Agents on pre-paid scheme. Only S.K. oil and wheat are being distributed under P.D.S. through S.K. oil wholesaler, Sub-wholesaler and retailer.

Govt in F.S. & C.W. Department, Orissa have been allotting Q.2479 MT of B.P.L. Rice for distribution among 1,01,045 B.P.L. beneficiaries by this district @ 25 Kg. per card per month @ Rs.6.30 per Kg. Click for Details

Govt. have been allotting Q.2316 of levy sugar for distribution among the B.P.L. and A.A.Y. beneficiaries @ 2 Kg. per card @ Rs.13.50 per kg. per month.

Govt. have been allotting Q.160.20 of rice under the scheme for distribution among 1602 beneficiaries @10 Kg per beneficiaries on free of cost. The rice under this scheme and A.A.Y. are being distributed to the beneficiaries at the G.P. headquarters on “Jana Seva Divas” i.e. 15^th.of each month.Click for Details

Govt. have been allotting 10,385.87 MT against requirement of 10,517.15 MT of rice under this scheme for distribution among 30,049 beneficiaries for the district @ 35 Kg.per card @ Rs.3.00 per Kg. per month. Click for Details

Govt. have been allotting Q.7000 of wheat to this district per month for distribution among the A.P.L. beneficiaries @ 9 Kg.per card @ Rs.7.00 per Kg. per month. Click for Details

Govt. have been allotting 888 Kl of K.oil to this district for each month for distribution among A.P.L. and B.P.L. beneficiaries @ 4 Ltrs. per card @ Rs.9.45 to 9.52 per month at various places of this district and the K. oil are being lifted by 5nos. of K.oil wholesalers for retailing through 50 S.K. oil Sub-wholesalers.

Besides this,pilot scheme on strengthing the distribution of PDS K.oil has been implemented in Dasapalla Block,which is named as ‘Jana Kerosene Pariyojana’ since October 2005..Also Govt has decided to implement to the said scheme in 2^nd phase in Odagaon Block,work is in progress for implementation of the scheme very shortly in odagaon block.Click for Details

Names of 15 persons who will be nominated by the State Govt. as a member of D.C.P.C. for this district has been submitted to Govt. of Orissa vide this Office letter No.1639 dt.11.11.2003 for approval which is yet to be received.

B.L.A.C. of 8 Blocks of this district have duly been approved by the Collector and communicated to the B.D.O. concerned.

T.L.A.C. of N.A.Cs of this district have duly been approved by the Collector and communicate the concerned Executive Officers.

It is seen that no R.L.C. has been formed in this district. All M. Is and B.D.Os and E.O.s of this district have been asked to constitute the R.L.C. at an early date.

Apart from the above, 13 cases have been booked during 2005 against vehicle drivers/owners and a sum of Rs.1,32, 000/- has been realized towards penalty suspecting for use of K. oil as substitute of fuel. .

During the Khariff marketing season’2005-2006 Govt. in F.S. & C.W. Deptt. have fixed target of 9000 MT in terms of rice to this district. The said target has been distributed among 8 miller agents who have been appointed to participate in procurement.
