Field Activities
The District Information and Public Relations Office has performed all National as well as State Level functions such as Republic Day, Orissa, Day, Saheed Raghu-Dibakar Death anniversary, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Jayanti, Independence Day, Pathani Samant Jayanti etc. The V.I.P. programmes such as tour programme of Chief Minister etc. have also been attended by the District Information and Public Relations Officer, Nayagarh.

Information
Centre-Cum-Reading Room
The Information Centre-cum-Reading Room is functioning in the premises of the Office building of the D.I.P.R.O.. the aims and objectives of I.C.-Cum-R.R. is to render proper information on various developmental programmes implemented by the Government as well as the literary and cultural development of the readers through news papers, magazines, periodicals and library books etc. All this is being maintained properly in this I.C.-Cum-R.R.. Besides this, press clippings published in different news papers regarding Nayagarh District is submitted to the Collector regularly for favour of perusal and taking proper steps in important matters.
Almost all types of Oriya news papers including one English paper and magazines are available in this Reading Room. It is also found that altogether 92 members are enrolled in the I.C.-cum-R.R. and caution money amounting to Rs.4181/- has been deposited in the Pass Book bearing No.669713.
